No, it's not a crappy fanfic. It's a crappy article!
This weekend I wrote an article in which I attempt to examine Princess Zelda from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as a strong female character, because apparently some people still only refer to her as a Damsel in Distress. This by referencing the Hero's Journey as proposed by Joseph Campbell in The Hero With a Thousand Faces (a book I studied through the magic of Wikipedia because my local libraries suck).
I never imagined the book would be THIS bad. I mean, Twilight was bad but New Moon is just insanely bad. Bella does nothing but whine all the time. I almost screamed the 50th time the word 'numbness' was mentioned.
When I actually finish the book I'll probably write a full review but at the moment I haven't yet read enough of the book to form such an opinion (though it will most likely be bad).
Quite a few people have asked me to read the sequel to Twilight and give my opinions on it, both haters as well as friends/people who want me to at least give the series another chance before writing it off as complete and utter garbage. So I picked up the cheapest copy I could find and I'm now reading New Moon with a pen to mark down everything I dislike about the book.
I can already say that the preface was riddled with thesaurus abuse and at least 2 tautologies (one of which was utterly unforgivable).

Not so much a Disaster: Day of Crisis
I bought Disaster: Day of Crisis last weekend and I want to talk about it, so I will. Especially since this game didn't get as much attention as it deserves.
So if you live in Europe (or Japan, meh): BUY THIS GAME (or at least give it a try).
I put the disc into my Wii Saturday afternoon and I emerged from my room Sunday afternoon having completed the game and ready to play it again. This is not a common thing for me since I've played so much games in my life a lot has to be done to get my attention. Disaster: Day of Crisis didn't only get my attention but kept it from beginning to end.
Unfortunately this game isn't out in America and it w

It's been a long and fun summer for me, absolute highlight being the LAN-party with 3 friends. I also finally got my hands on a Nintendo DS with Pokémon Diamond. By now that game has some serious mileage with over 60 hours played, even as an adult Pokémon keeps being fun.
